"Nice ankle support. Very lightweight. Needs more ventilation toward toe area. But, although touted as a plus, the side zipper is exceptionally useless because it is placed in an area of the boot that does not facilitate foot insertion into the boot at all. I have had to buy and install boot zippers that are laced up front in order for me to have the convenience of a zip-up boot. A better design would position the side zipper at an angle opening more toward the toe or have the zipper installed in front with adjustable laces on the sides."

"I made a bulk purchase of these boots and for the most part, they were great, but I did experience a approximate 3% defect rate. Propper was very good about replacing the defective boots, no questions asked."
