Cold-Weather Tac Shirt, Doesn't Fit Quite Right

"I've got a medium-long shirt (my usual size) in ATACS-FG (matching my ACU trousers) that I wear on a near-weekly basis to play paintball. Though I wear it often, It's mostly because I don't have anything better to wear. In terms of combat shirts, all I can compare is an OCP Army Combat Shirt - Flame Resistant I picked up off ebay because my unit wasn't issuing them fast enough. Good points: Camo: ATACS-FG is phenomenal. Leafy-green spring or dead brown winter, you'll blend in with the forest around you. Even after being washed dozens of times, there's only minor differences in the fading between the differing arm/shoulder and chest/back materials. Check out my ATACS ACU pant review for the full spiel. Material (Arms/Shoulders): Made from the same material as the trousers, they're super durable. Paintballs, sticks, rocks, or whatever doesn't faze it. With the material setup on the shoulders, I get zero chaffing or rubbing from running 20 lbs of steel plate, plate carrier, pouches, and ammo all day. Once I finick with it enough to get it sitting right. Bad points: Fit: Med/Long is my usual size, and it feels like this shirt runs big. If I got a new Tac.U shirt, I'd probably downsize to a Small/Long so that it fits snugly around the chest. Collar/Shoulders: It might be the sizing, but the collar likes to ride back on me. Same for the shoulders... It'll eventually get somewhat in place, but never quite where I want it (snug to the back of the neck while partly zipped). As well, there's a swath of velcro on the back of the neck, probably for a name patch, that I never use. With the fit, the velcro, and the short size of the collar, it doesn't sit quite right whether the collar is popped or if it's folded down. Chest Material: Like the title says, though I wear the shirt in all weather, it's best suited for cold weather. The chest/back cotton/poly 60/40 blend used is super thick, and not really breathable. Given the choice, I'd replace it with the Cotton/Rayon/Spandex blend (in one solid color instead of the ATACS) from my OCP shirt. Wearing the plate carrier (instead of my older, more breathable, soft vest) makes it worse, and I usually drop the combat shirt in favor of just a t-shirt half-way through the day once it warms up and the tac shirt starts getting drenched in sweat. Also: I chopped out the little hand-keepers/glove-things at the end of the sleeves. I'm not entirely sure what they're for, but the sleeves still work fine without them, and it's one less thing to worry about. Overall, with not much to compare to, it's not bad. Combined with a thermal undershirt, the ACU blouse on top, and my soft vest, I was plenty warm when I decided to ride the motorcycle on a cold/windy day instead of taking the truck. But again, that's not a good thing on 100F+ days where you're sweating buckets."
