Legs are smaller than the pant leg version.

"These shorts fall a little ... short. If you are an athletic build or have average sized legs these shorts would likely be fantastic. If you are on the larger side like myself then make sure to order a size up to ensure that the legs fit without being too snug. The look and feel of the shorts is great and matches the pants I usually go for. But for some reason the shorts have smaller leg openings than the pants making them uncomfortable to wear."
