Jacket Review
"Although not made in USA, the jacket appears to be of adequate quality. On my jacket the sleeves are long enough to be used as mittens, so I will need to have the jacket tailored."

The Propper® M65 Field Coat is praised for its classic military design and fit, though opinions vary on the sleeves, size, zipper, and quality. Many customers find it true to military sizing, but some have experienced sizing issues and mixed opinions on the zipper and quality.

"The M65 field coat is very nice with the liner, the only thing I would recommend is checking the size"

"This version of the M-65 field jacket was made in China, sports OD plastic YKK zippers (versus the brass originals) , and lacks the attachment points for the M-51 OG-107 Extreme Cold Weather Hood found on the original M-65. Other than that, it's a good, heavy field jacket that seems to be well made & well sewn. It's comfortable and true to the military sizing for this coat -- a bit bulky and loose-fitting. Color is an olive green, not really OD, but it's not bad looking. It's mostly true to the old M-65 design, but differs in these details--not an exact reproduction of the original, but still a good jacket."

"My coat came fairly fast! The quality is great. This coat will be with me for a long time. I would recommend this coat."

"Only problem with it are the sleeve cuffs. Not enough velcro to to adjust and close them up so the sleeve doesn't slip over the hand."

"I was issued a 2XL Long M65 in the Army. I wanted to replace it with a new one and was disappointed to see that these jackets run short. Doesn't make sense to have an XL long, but no 2XL long, especially as they are made in China and is an easy fix. Other than that, the jacket is fine, but I really hate that it runs short. Too bad Propper didn't make the Longs in 2XL as nobody does, and they would reap the business from us tall guys."

"Sleeves are about 3" too long."
