"I recently purchased the canvas version this vest specifically for IDPA use. I'm 5'11", 175 lbs with a 44" chest and the Large version of this vest fit very well for competition purposes. Easily covers all the required gear from every angle using a G34. The canvas is nice and stiff and gets out of the way easily for draws of both the sidearm and magazines. Notes: I gave the vest 5 stars because it is everything it is advertised to be; however, several modification may be necessary if you intend to use this vest for IDPA. The velcro patch at the upper left side scratches your upper left arm if no patch is applied. The patch was easily removed in about 2 minutes with a scalpel by carefully cutting the stitching away. The pockets flaps are sewn separately from the pockets themselves making it very easy to cut the flap stitching and thereby removing the flaps so they dont interfere. The zippers are double stitched, but also easily removed with a sharp, thin knife or scalpel. Overall, this is a very cost-effective and functional IDPA concealment garment option."

"It’s true to size! I’m a large and it fits perfectly not like those asian or weird european sizes that run way too small or too large. I can carry all the stuff I need for work and when I get out of work I can slip in my gun so I can take it to places when I go out. Very useful and met my expectations!"
